Almost all of us would love to get glued to our television and watch the beauty contests held year over year. But really, what is it that makes these beauties so beautiful I would undoubtedly say that it is lot more than just a catchy smile or their silky hair. The very fact that they are representing their states or countries on a national or international level itself proves that these are the ladies with substance. They are those who walk forth with confidence and hope that they will give their best and are open to accept the results whatever they may be.
As I have already mentioned, beauty pageants are not only about the way you look. It is about the way you carry yourself, how sound your views and opinions are and how confident you are when you voice them out. How many times we have seen the most beautiful face get eliminated because of a not so beautiful and genuine answer from them! It only goes on to emphasize the fact that the person you are is decided not just by your face or look!
Unfortunately, in the recent past, we have seen many situations where there have been many countries and various groups that have voiced their opinion against such beauty pageants being held. It has been heartening to see the arrangements for these beauty pageants being made so successfully year over year despite of this resistance.
There are a few women who want to make their voice heard, their presence felt. They are the ones who truly believe that they have something to offer in this world and are seeking the beauty contests as platforms to do so.
